How it works

Mechanism of action

Binds oxytocin receptors in brain (amygdala, nucleus accumbens), uterus, and immune tissues. CNS effects include reduced anxiety via amygdala dampening, enhanced trust and prosocial behavior, and HPA stress axis attenuation.

The baseline panel.

Every Marek client receives this baseline panel before a provider review. Your provider may add additional biomarkers based on your health history, symptoms, and goals, pulling from 1,000+ available markers. See more biomarkers →

Clinical evidence

The research behind Oxytocin.

Intranasal Oxytocin Increases Trust in Humans

Nature (2005)

Kosfeld et al. demonstrated intranasal oxytocin significantly increased trust-based decisions in economic trust game, landmark study establishing oxytocin as a trust-enhancing compound.
