The science

How Ezetimibe works.

Inhibits NPC1L1 cholesterol transporter on intestinal enterocytes, blocking dietary and biliary cholesterol absorption. Reduced hepatic cholesterol delivery upregulates LDL receptors via SREBP-2.

Eligibility, dosing, and outcomes vary. Any prescription is at the discretion of a partnered licensed medical provider based on your labs and medical history.
