About Benjamin

Benjamin forged his own path to coordinating patient care at Marek: as an athlete who fights to keep performing, as a patient who fought to reclaim his own health, and as a coach who has spent years helping others fight for theirs. A diverse background in fitness, biology, and music taught him early that performance and longevity aren't mutually exclusive, and that working through pain, injury, and physical setbacks takes a combination of deep understanding, nuance, curiosity, and the inner fire to keep pushing toward recovery and adaptation. That spirit of antifragility, the belief that the body can come back stronger from what tries to break it, still guides his care today. As an athlete, coach, and former gym owner, Benjamin has always believed that coaching works best when it's shaped around the individual. People arrive with different histories, physiologies, and goals, and a priority is to meet each of them where they actually are. Over the years that's meant helping someone reshape their body composition, get their first pull-up, or prepare for competition at the highest level of sport. In every case, the work started with one person, seen clearly and on their own terms. His own health is the other half of the story. Benjamin spent years as a patient himself, managing thyroid and hormonal struggles alongside chronic gut issues, and at times falling through the cracks of a system that couldn't find the root of what was wrong. That experience left him with a deep respect for the patient experience and a lasting commitment to root-cause medicine, so that the people he works with get answers instead of dead ends. Benjamin's areas of clinical focus include thyroid function, gut health, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), metabolic disorders, fertility, anti-aging, and athletic longevity. Much of that work begins with the data, where he relies on advanced lab testing and careful biomarker interpretation to turn raw numbers into a clear, individual picture of what's going on and what to do next. At Marek Health, he works with people who are done settling, whether they're chasing a personal best, pushing past a plateau, or simply ready to feel like themselves again.
