Diagnostic Blood Test:

Apolipoprotein A-1 (ApoA1)

Apolipoprotein A-1 (ApoA1) is a protein that is part of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), also known as “good” cholesterol. It helps remove extra cholesterol from tissues and carries it to the liver to be recycled or removed from the body. Low levels of ApoA1 may signal a higher risk of developing heart disease.
