Marek Health's Transformation Challenge ($10,000 prize!)
First of all, if you're reading this…thank you. We're proud to support a broad spectrum of individuals seeking optimal health. Whether you're a weekend warrior or a professional athlete, we're united in the shared belief that health is wealth.
Although we work with clients 1:1, our goal is to help foster a deeper community among those who share our mission of redefining health and pioneering a new frontier in human potential.
We want to make sure you have all the details you need prior to entry.
Eligibility
Participants must be current Marek Health clients enrolled in the Guided Optimization™ program prior to February 1st, 2025, and throughout the Marek Health's Transformation Challenge duration. No additional entry fee is required. All participants must:
- Be legal U.S. residents aged 18 or older.
- Existing clients must maintain Marek Health's Guided Optimization™ program requirements, including biannual provider exams and follow-up lab work.
- New clients must enroll in Marek Health's Guided Optimization™ and complete the Initial Provider Exam before the challenge begins.
- Employees and contractors of Marek Health, their immediate family members, and individuals living in the same household are not eligible to enter.
- Submit before and after photos that are unedited, unaltered, and Photoshop-free.
- Submit all before photos via email to challenge@marekhealth.com with your full name. Once submitted, you will receive a Google Drive folder to upload your progress and after photos.
Contest Timeline and Submission Guidelines
- February 1st - February 5th, 2025: Submit two “before” photos (front and back of the body) to challenge@marekhealth.com.
- March 10th - March 12th, 2025: Submit two “progress” photos (front and back of the body) via Google Drive Folder sent from Marek Health. Note, no need to email photos to challenge@marekhealth.com.
- April 12th - April 15th, 2025: Submit two “after” photos (front and back of the body) via Google Drive Folder sent from Marek Health.
- Photos must be taken in appropriate gym attire (e.g., males in shorts, no shirt; females in gym shorts and sports bra or tank top) and in front of a plain background.
Disqualification Criteria
Participants will be disqualified if they:
- Submit pre-existing or altered photos. Any attempts to photoshop before/after photos or share photos asynchronously with the contest timeline will result in disqualification.
- Fail to submit photos within the designated timeline.
- Engage in prohibited substances or enhancement practices.
- Falsifying any documentation or representation.
Judging Criteria
The winner will be determined by three (3) qualified judges chosen by Marek Health. The judges will evaluate entries based on the following criteria at their sole discretion: (a) body transformation and physical attributes, (b) being an active or new Marek Health Guided Optimization™ client with no overdue labs or Patient Exams, (c) demonstrated improvement in symptom relief, lifestyle changes, or lab results, (d) adherence to photo submission guidelines, and (e) submission of a motivational testimonial, including improved body measurements or quality of life updates.
Finalists may be required to undergo an interview and must provide an honest endorsement of their experience with Marek Health's Guided Optimization™ services.
Prizes
One winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize. The winner will be notified via phone, email, and a public Instagram post.
The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes, customs duties, and/or shipping of your prizes in the event that you win. We can only ship the monetary prize to a U.S. address.
Once notified by Marek Health via phone and email, the winner will have five (5) business days to take ownership of the prize. In the event the winner does not acknowledge the winnings, the second-place participant will be contacted as the winner and will receive the prize.
Liability Waiver
By entering, participants acknowledge that:
- The challenge involves physical activity and dietary changes that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, overexertion, or other health complications.
- Marek Health is not responsible for any injuries or health issues arising from participation. Participants assume full responsibility for their own safety and well-being.
- Participants are advised to consult with a healthcare provider before engaging in the challenge. Marek Health disclaims any liability for injury or harm incurred during the challenge.
Consent and Release
By participating, entrants grant Marek Health a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use their photos, videos, and testimonials for promotional purposes across all media, without compensation or further approval. Participants waive any rights to review or approve how their likeness is used. Entrants also consent to Marek Health sharing their personal information or content publicly.
Tax Responsibility
The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes resulting from the prize. Marek Health will issue any required tax documents to the winner in compliance with applicable law. Marek Health shall ensure that the $10,000 prize is reported and issue a 1099 form to the winner.
Amendments
Marek Health reserves the right to modify or amend these rules at its discretion. Any changes will be communicated to participants and posted publicly.
Dispute Resolution
By participating, entrants agree that any disputes arising from the contest will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the state in which Marek Health is headquartered.
Indemnification
Participants agree to indemnify and hold Marek Health LLC harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from their participation in the challenge.
